A welcome bonus is only as good as its wagering requirement, its expiry window, and what games you’re allowed to clear it on. The headline percentage tells you almost nothing on its own.
This page breaks down the actual bonus terms at six operators currently marketing to NZ players: the deposit match, the wagering multiplier, the max bet while a bonus is active, and how long you have to clear it. Every figure below comes from the operator’s own terms or a dated, verifiable review, not a promotional banner.

New Zealand’s Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 came into force on 1 May 2026. It creates the country’s first licensed online casino framework, but the licensing process is still in its early stages, and no operator holds a DIA licence yet.
All six operators below currently serve NZ players under offshore licences during the Act’s transitional period, which runs until 1 December 2026. Check each operator’s own terms for current availability before you register.
We looked at five things for each operator’s current welcome offer:
Bonus terms change often. The “Verified” date on each entry is when we last checked it against the operator’s own terms or a dated review. Confirm the live terms on-site before you deposit.
Operator: GBL Solutions N.V. (Curaçao licence OGL/2024/589/0556)
Best for: Players who want the largest total headline value and don’t mind a 45x requirement
VegaZone runs two separate welcome paths rather than one. The four-deposit standard package carries the highest total headline figure of the six operators here, but the 45x wagering requirement and 5-day window are also the steepest combination on this page.
The high-roller alternative trades a smaller headline number for a lower 35x requirement. If you’re depositing a meaningful amount on day one anyway, the math often favours the high-roller path over the full four-stage package.
Ongoing bonuses: a weekend deposit boost (Sunday Funday, 25% up to roughly NZD equivalent of €200), a weekly reload (50% up to roughly NZD equivalent of €500), and a daily cashback offer that carries its own 30x requirement to be cleared within 48 hours.
Operator: Rabidi N.V. (Curaçao)
Best for: Players who want the most generous stated wagering terms on this page
That 35x figure on deposit plus bonus is the lowest headline multiplier confirmed among the four Bonus Crab-style operators on this page (NovaJackpot, Spinight, Spinit, and Spinanga all carry near-identical 35x/40x structures, discussed below).
We could not resolve the exact current headline figure. Confirm whether the live offer is the single NZ$1,000 package or the larger three-deposit NZ$5,000 package directly on NovaJackpot’s own promotions page before you plan around either number.
Ongoing bonuses: a weekly reload combining free spins and a match bonus, 15% weekly cashback, 25% cashback specifically on live casino losses, a separate weekly 50-free-spin reload, and a Drop & Wins live casino promotion with a stated monthly prize pool of up to €500,000.
Operator: Liernin Enterprises Ltd. Sources disagree on the licensing jurisdiction (Curaçao and Anjouan both appear); we could not resolve this to a single confirmed answer. Also operates Legiano Casino.
Best for: Players who want the most generous live and table game contribution rate on this page
The 10% live and table game contribution is the standout term here. Most operators on this page either exclude live games entirely or count them at 0%, which forces the entire wagering requirement onto slots. Spinight is the one exception, so a player who splits time between slots and live tables clears this bonus faster here than anywhere else on this page.
We were unable to confirm a single, consistent licence reference for Spinight across sources at the time of writing. Verify the operator’s current licence number directly on spinight.com before registering, separate from the bonus terms.
The weekly reload is worth doing the maths on before you assume it beats a one-time welcome offer elsewhere. A NZ$75 deposit at 50% returns NZ$37.50 in bonus funds. Repeated every week for a year, that’s NZ$1,950 in bonus funds against NZ$3,900 deposited, before wagering requirements are applied.
Operator: Intelligent Innovations N.V. (Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence OGL/2024/767/0360). FS Casino is the rebranded identity of the previously operating VulkanBet.
Best for: Players who want the longest free spin schedule and don’t mind a slots-only bonus
FS Casino’s 400 free spins is the largest spin allocation on this page, and the 30x wagering on those spin winnings is also the lowest among operators that publish a separate free-spin multiplier here.
The trade-off is scope. Because live casino games contribute 0% and the bonus explicitly can’t touch sports or esports, this is a slots-only instrument regardless of how the rest of the account is structured. If you’re drawn to FS Casino specifically for its combined casino-sportsbook-esports setup, know that the welcome bonus doesn’t extend to two of those three things.
We could not confirm an NZD-specific figure for this bonus independent of the €/$ notation used across sources. Confirm the exact NZD amount at fs.casino before depositing.
Operator: originally launched in 2016 by Genesis Global Limited (Malta-incorporated, Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/314/2015 and UK Gambling Commission licence, per the site’s own archived terms).
Genesis Global Limited’s licensed portfolio, including Spinit, was suspended by the UK Gambling Commission around 2022-2023. The version currently marketed to NZ players is described by multiple 2025-2026 sources as operated by Stellar Ltd under an Anjouan Gaming Authority licence (ALSI-202411077-FI2).
Best for: Players who want a sportsbook bonus alongside the casino welcome offer
Spinit’s casino welcome terms are close to identical to Spinight’s, down to the NZ$1,000 headline, the NZ$40 minimum deposit, the 35x/40x wagering split, and the Bonus Crab mechanic. Given how similar these two brand names are, double-check which site you’re actually on before you register.
The sportsbook offer is a genuinely separate bonus with its own wagering path, and it’s the only sports-specific welcome bonus among the six operators covered here.
Check the current offer at Spinit. Given the operator’s history, we’d read the terms and conditions page directly rather than relying solely on third-party summaries, including ours.
Best for: Players who want the deepest set of ongoing reload bonuses, including crypto-specific offers
Spinanga’s headline casino welcome bonus is functionally the same shape as NovaJackpot’s smaller-figure version and Spinight’s and Spinit’s: NZ$1,000, NZ$40 minimum, 35x/40x split, 10 days. The crypto-specific alternative is the differentiator, with a considerably higher NZ$6,000 ceiling for players depositing in crypto at NZ$200 or more.
Ongoing bonuses are the most extensive on this page. A weekend reload runs up to NZ$1,400 + 50 free spins. A weekend crypto reload (Friday to Monday) offers 75% up to NZ$1,500 + 100 free spins with a 5x cashout cap.
A weekly crypto reload (Monday to Thursday) offers 60% up to NZ$1,000 at a comparatively low 30x wagering requirement. A live casino cashback returns a percentage of losses at just 1x wagering, close to a straight refund.
A note on recent complaint activity: this operator has an active cluster of unresolved withdrawal complaints logged on AskGamblers dated June-July 2026, including account lockouts with funds held and delayed support responses. This sits alongside a casino.guru Safety Index of 8.4, among the higher scores in the offshore casino space. Both facts are part of the current public record.
Four of the six (NovaJackpot, Spinight, Spinit, and Spinanga) converge on nearly identical terms: NZ$1,000, NZ$40 minimum deposit, 35x deposit-plus-bonus wagering, 40x on free spins, and a 10-day window with 20 spins released daily.
Whether that reflects shared bonus platform infrastructure across otherwise unrelated brands, or something else, we can’t say from the outside. It’s worth knowing regardless, since it means the real differentiators between these four are elsewhere: game contribution rates, exclusions, and the ongoing promotions each one runs.
A 35x requirement on the bonus alone is meaningfully easier to clear than a 35x requirement on your deposit plus the bonus combined. Every operator on this page uses the deposit-plus-bonus version. Deposit NZ$40 and receive NZ$40 in bonus funds under a 35x deposit-plus-bonus term, and you need NZ$2,800 in total wagers, not NZ$1,400.
The NZ$8 to NZ$10 max bet caps found across every operator here exist to stop a player from clearing a large wagering requirement in a handful of high-stakes spins. Breaking the limit, even once, is grounds for the operator to void the bonus and any winnings attached to it. Check this number before you place a single bet with bonus funds active.
A 35x requirement on a platform where slots contribute 100% and live games contribute 0% is only actually a 35x requirement if you play exclusively on slots. Spinight’s 10% live contribution is the one exception on this page. Everywhere else, live and table play does little or nothing toward clearing the bonus, which makes the wagering requirement effectively higher for anyone who splits their sessions.
A 45x requirement with a 5-day window, VegaZone’s standard package, asks for meaningfully more daily wagering volume than a 35x requirement with a 10-day window. Two numbers matter here together, not the wagering multiplier alone.
